Guatemala La Bendición
This coffee was an instant favorite on our cupping table with distinct notes of chocolate, hazelnut, and stone fruit. Doña Luz Auedli Villatoro inherited the farm from her father. She has worked in coffee her entire life, learning how to plant, cultivate, and care for the land from an early age. When her father died she inherited the estate, and named it La Bendición, or the Blessing, to signalize the gratefulness she feels for her land and family. As a single mother, she works constantly to provide a good life for her children, and takes pride in the quality of her coffee.
