All coffees taste like coffees but its their inherent flavor nuances that make them unique. I like to think of tasting coffees in terms of a memorable or reminicent experience I’ve had; what do the flavors I’m perceiving remind me of. This helps me connect with the coffee more and through the roasting process, highlight those flavors and experience. What does the taste of this coffee remind me of? When I drink this coffee, I’m reminded of my 8 year old self devouring these chocolately and gooey brownies covered in warm caramel sauce that my mom used to bake on special occasions. I loved those brownies and I love this coffee.
