Aldo's Blend


This blend is named for our hero Aldo Leopold, a revered ecologist and author. It is a coffee we roast a bit longer than our other offerings - with the goal of muting acidity, accentuating mouthfeel, and caramelizing sugars. Aldo's is roasted for our loyal supporters who are nostalgic for taste notes reminiscent of the Old World: earthy and seasoned. The Aldo's is currently comprised of a a regional blend, sourced from our long-time partners in Nicaragua - Gold Mountain Coffee Growers. This ‘Microeconomics’ blend represents a cross-section of coffees from all of the farmers under the Gold Mountain umbrella. If you like rich, full bodied coffees, this is the choice for you.
